Rides Starting in March! Watch the Calendar!
To promote bicycling for transportation, recreation and better health;
To encourage and assist beginning riders, welcome new members and be a diverse and inclusive club;
To schedule club rides, hold monthly meetings and offer social events;
To connect riders of similar skills and interests;
To educate members in safe riding practices and bicycle maintenance; and
To work with the village to improve cyclists' safety.

Everyone is welcome to join a DGBC ride. We limit non-members to two rides per season.

We will have pre-picnic rides for all speeds!
Details about rides will be sent via email and posted on the DGBC website calendar about a week before the picnic.
Members and their guests only. No cost.
Please bring your own non-alcoholic beverages. Cold water will be available in dispensers to fill your water bottle.

The DGBC will participate by collecting used bikes for Working Bikes.
Please keep this in mind and put aside any unwanted bikes for this purpose; and share with friends and neighbors.
Volunteers to help with the bike collection are needed - please contact Nanci (ngasiel@gmail.com) if you’d like to volunteer.
It's a feel-good event and fun to see the many organizations in action.

Ride Illinois is a member-supported nonprofit organization. Downers Grove Bicycle Club is proud to support Ride Illinois as an affiliated bicycle club at the Silver Level. You can also become a member at the individual level or make a donation to support their work, so they can continue to provide training and advocate for cycling.
